We’re in business to save our sport.
Our reason for being.
At Champion Tennis, we realize that the popularity of tennis has be on the decline in recent years. We aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations—to do something about it.
Champion Tennis was created on the sole idea of delivering a tennis experience unlike any you’ve had before. Being a tennis player isn’t an easy task. From hitting thousands of serves to practicing the most intense drills, we all strive to be the perfect player. Tennis is a strenuous sport that requires; patience, mental toughness, and the desire to be great, and not everyone is cut out to handle the strength it takes to be a tennis player. Unfortunately since tennis demands more skill and preparation than other sports, less athletes are choosing to play tennis.
As tennis continues to lose popularity, we see a potential, even probable end to such moments, and so we’re fighting to save them. We donate our time, services and at least 1 percent of our sales to help hundreds of youth tennis camps across the world so they can continue to train, and spread the vibrant passion of tennis. At the same time, we know it can be daunting to consistently be a tennis player. From constantly practicing to achieve perfect form, keeping a tough and positive mindset, to dealing with the physical toll tennis has on your body, we get it. We are doing our best to address the causes, and not just symptoms, of tennis player nuances.
Staying true to our core values since our beginnings has helped us create a company we’re proud to run and work for. To stay in business for far into the future, we must preserve the sport we all know and love.
Our values reflect those of a business started by a crazy tennis fanatic and the passionate vibe that he promoted. The approach we take toward product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility.
Build the best product
Our criteria for the best product rests on function, repairability, and foremost, durability. Among the most direct ways we can address player satisfaction is with goods that last and provide a consistent experience for players that they can depend on. Crafting the best product matters for producing the timeless champions.
Cause no unnecessary harm
We know that our business activity—from providing intense trainings to introducing new techniques— is part of the problem. We work steadily to simplify our business practices and share what we’ve learned. But we recognize that this is not enough. We seek not only to do less harm, but more good.
Use business to spread passion
The challenges we face as individuals require community. We need a place of belonging. We congregate with others who share the same intense passion for tennis as us and fuel the desire to achieve to be more than just amazing.
Not bound by convention
Our success—and much of the fun—lies in developing new ways to do things.
